Today, Lone Star bit has grown into the premier manufacturer of shallow well drilling rigs, mud rotary drilling systems, and custom drill bits. Our rigs are the highest quality man-portable rigs available on the planet. From our Stafford, Texas manufacturing facility we also build custom drag bits for whatever special application you may have. We can build you the perfect bit for the job, any size from 7/8" wide to 18" wide. We make reamers, stabilizers, step bits, chevron bits and scratcher bits. We also supply button bits, roller cone bits, and pilot bits. In addition to our quality drill bits, we are also a full supplier of water well drilling supplies and equipment. We can supply you with everything from wyoming bentonite to fishing tools to mud pumps. Our well casing and well screens are custom designed for optimal water well development every time. We also supply sucker rod, drop pipe, and well pumps. In addition to water well drilling equipment, our LS100 and LS200, Hatz diesel rotary is the perfect application for soil sampling and siesmic drilling. Designed to drill 200 feet or less in shallow well formations, our man-portable drilling rigs can be wheeled to the site by one person. </body>
